Thanks to their increased mix of alloying elements (such as Iron, Carbon, Silicon, Manganese etc) & thermal treatments, T45 & 4130 tubes benefit from higher mechanical strength properties when compared to a standard CDS tube, such as E235.

Due to their increased mechanical strength, a user can sometimes utilise a thinner wall thickness or diameter, thus saving weight and still maintaining the structural strength required. This makes T45/4130 the go-to product for industries such as Aerospace & Automotive.
